About the Journal

Sustainable Foreign Language Education from a Eurasian Perspective (SFLEEP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that explores theory, practice, and policy in foreign language education through the lens of sustainability and regional cooperation across Eurasia dedicated to both educators and researchers.

The journal provides a platform for the publication of original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and brief reports that address pivotal issues encountered in classroom instruction. Additionally, SFLEEP encompasses articles that delve into non-teaching aspects of the English language, which are essential for broadening the global community's proficiency and understanding of English.

The journal welcomes research articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and book reviews that contribute to sustainable educational development in foreign language teaching and learning.

We aim to foster dialogue among researchers, educators, and policymakers to promote inclusive, innovative, and culturally sensitive language education models grounded in both global and local contexts.

Additionally, SFLEEP invites scholarly contributions in various domains of contemporary research, including teaching and learning English as a first language (L1), second language (L2), and as a foreign language (EFL).

The journal also covers language planning and assessment methodologies, policies and curriculum development strategies in English language education, multilingualism, and approaches to multilingual education, emphasizing the integration of English.
